Abstract

【課題】製作コストを抑えると共にジッタを低減させることが可能な光クロック信号抽出装置を実現する。 【解決手段】高速の被測定光信号と位相同期した光クロック信号を抽出する光クロック信号抽出装置において、過飽和吸収ミラーと、繰り返し光パルスである光パルス信号を出射する光パルス光源と、被測定光信号を通過させ過飽和吸収ミラーからの光パルス信号の反射光を分岐させる第1の光合波分波器と、光パルス信号を通過させると共に分岐させて光クロック信号として取り出し過飽和吸収ミラーからの被測定光信号の反射光を分岐させる第2の光合波分波器と、第1及び第2の光合波分波器で分岐された過飽和吸収ミラーからの光パルス信号及び被測定光信号の反射光が入射されそれぞれの光パワーの差分の電気信号を出力するバランス受光器と、このバランス受光器の出力に基づき光パルス信号の位相を制御する信号を光パルス光源に出力する発振器と設ける。 【選択図】 図1
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an optical clock signal extraction device capable of suppressing manufacturing costs and simultaneously reducing jitter. SOLUTION: In the optical clock signal extraction device which extracts an optical clock signal whose phase is synchronized with a high speed measured optical signal, it is provided with a supersaturation absorption mirror, an optical pulse light source which repeatedly emits an optical pulse signal which is an optical pulse, a first optical multiplexer and demultiplexer which passes the measured optical signal and branches reflection light of the optical pulse signal from the supersaturation absorption mirror, a second optical multiplexer and demultiplexer which passes the optical pulse signal, simultaneously branches it, takes it out as the optical clock signal and branches reflection light of the measured optical signal from the supersaturation absorption mirror, a balance light receiver on which the optical pulse signal and the reflection light of the measured optical signal from the supersaturation absorption mirror branched by the first and second optical multiplexer and demultiplexer are made incident and outputs an electric signal of difference of each optical power and an oscillator which outputs a signal for controlling the phase of the optical pulse signal to an optical pulse light source based on output of the balance light receiver.
