【課題】 ラベル連続紙9'がプラテン5に巻きついた状態で放置されても、ラベル紙9dの端部が剥離しないようにし、ラベル連続紙9'を搬送するときでもラベル紙9dの端部が用紙ガイド7やリボンプロテクタブラケット16やリーフスプリング17に貼り付かないようにする。 【解決手段】 プラテン5に沿って連続紙9を搬送して該連続紙9上に印刷する印刷装置において、プラテン5近傍に設けられ、連続紙9をガイドする用紙ガイド7と、用紙ガイド7と搬送される連続紙9との間で、且つ用紙ガイド7の搬送方向下流端部を少なくとも含む範囲で連続紙9をガイドするラベル紙ガイド20とを設けた。 【選択図】 図1
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an end part of a label paper 9d from being peeled off even when a label continuous paper 9' is left while it is wound around a platen 5 and prevent the end part of the label paper 9d from being sticked to a paper guide 7, a ribbon protector bracket 16, and a leaf spring 17 even when conveying the label continuous paper 9'. SOLUTION: This printing device for conveying a continuous paper 9 along the platen 5 and printing on the continuous paper 9 is provided with the paper guide 7 provided in the vicinity of the platen 5 to guide the continuous paper 9 and a label paper guide 20 for guiding the continuous paper 9 in a scope including at least an end part on the downstream side in the direction of conveyance of the paper guide 7 between the paper guide 7 and the continuous paper 9 to be conveyed.
